Goal: Help 40 People From Diverse Backgrounds Start a Career in IT or Cybersecurity
The DiversIT Initiative helps people from any background start a high paying, highly rewarding career in IT or Cybersecurity without the need for college. The training program offers everything needed to enter the field and thrive, including class, career readiness training, interview preparation, resume building, and one-on-one mentoring. Students receive personalized attention and have a clear path towards lifelong career success.

for Veterans and Active Duty Military
Goal: Help 25 Veterans and Active Duty Military Members Start a Career in IT or Cybersecurity
The Veterans Hired in IT Initiative focuses on helping veterans start a high paying, highly rewarding career in IT or Cybersecurity. The training program offers everything needed to enter the field and thrive, including class, career readiness training, interview preparation, resume building, and one-on-one mentoring. Students have a clear path towards achieving lifelong career success.

Get Hired at a Job They Love
Goal: Help 40 Unemployed or Underemployed People With Resume Assistance, Interview Preparation, and Job Search Assistance so That They Can Get Hired at a Job They Love.
The San Diego Working Initiative is designed to help motivate people and help prepare them so that they can stand out during the job search process. Participants can participate in workshops, short term classes, and one-on-one mentoring so that they can feel confident, prepared, and ready to get hired.
College Grads, Current Students, and Anyone with Skills Can Gain Valuable Real World Experience in Their Field While Helping San Diego Non Profits Achieve Their Mission
Goal: Help 30 People Gain Volunteer Experience That Will Help Them Launch Their Careers.
Dreams to Careers partners with various San Diego based organizations who are doing great work to help find them reliable and skilled volunteers. Volunteers may have college degrees, some college background, or no college at all. Volunteers are expected to have skills and passion, perhaps with the goal of gaining real world work experience before getting hired somewhere full time. Our San Diego partner organizations get much needed and high quality support to help them achieve their missions. Volunteers can work with us or directly with our non profit partners in areas such as:

Digital Breeze is the client facing side for Volunteers to Careers, making it incredibly easy for non profits to get much needed support. We can work directly with volunteers who are looking for real world experience to help complete projects for our partners. We can provide guidance, training, classes, mentoring, and our own expertise to help produce results. We can also simply refer volunteers to organizations or have a hybrid approach. We work with each organization to implement the model that works best.
